Within 28 days of being elected as a HSR. This training is mandatory. Individuals organise their own training, liaising with their supervisor to advise them of time off work required to attend. |
| QLD Health and Safety Representatives (HSR) Refresher training |
HSRs must attend a 1-day refresher training course at least once every 12 months from the date of their initial 5-day training course, and once every 12 months for their term. There is no set timeframe for when annual refresher training must be completed, but it is important for HSRs to complete this training as soon as reasonably possible each year to ensure they maintain up-to-date information necessary to continue performing their roles. |
